How do I make the stars twinkle?
This effect is created by using a twinkle wheel that is inside the illuminator. While the twinkle wheel might not look like much, the end effect can be quite impressive.
One of the important pieces to a random twinkle effect is the random disbursement of filament, If you're using fiber optic cable, be sure to blend the individual filaments together. This will require you to cut off the protective jacket on the end of the cable that will be going into the illuminator and extracting the filaments.Â
